Scott Dunkerley
2008 School Advisory Council Nominee
Scott Dunkerley and his wife, Janet, have three children (John (8), William (8) and Samuel (5)), all three attend STA: John and William (second grade) and Samuel (pre-K4). Scott works for technology provider Cisco Systems in sales. He has extensive experience in technology, networking and large IT projects.
Scott's vision for STA over the next five years is that St. Thomas should continue to provide a quality faith based education while improving all areas of education particularly the use of technology. He believes clear plans that can be sponsored by the entire community have been missing. If people understand the goal and buy into it, they will get behind it with both funding and time. He believes there are a lot of resources within the community that are not currently being utilized and could provide access to needed resources and programs.
Scott served on the Capital Campaign Committee for the School and has served on the Second Grade Fill the Gap Campaign Committee. He was a member of CRHP Team Five and the recent CRHP road Team for St. John's in Ennis. He has been the Navigator for his second grade boys Adventure Guides for the past three years. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
