Online Application Instructions
2018-19 School Year Applications:

The on-time application window for the 2018-19 school year has passed, with a submission deadline of Friday, February 2, 2018. Applications must have been received by Friday, February 2, 2018 with all requested elements complete in order to receive on-time consideration. If required support documents are outstanding , the application will be suspended and will not be reviewed until all elements are complete. Once all on-time applications have been processed, late applications will be considered if space allows. Please contact the Admissions office after February 23rd to see if late applications will be accepted to any grade levels.

Applications to 8th grade will only be accepted from students currently attending Catholic school in another diocese relocating to Dallas.

Students applying to kindergarten through 7th grade will be asked to take a readiness assessment or an English and Math assessment for placement. An application fee of $125 for all applications is due with the online application. Local applicants to 4th-8th grades will also visit our school for a required shadow day at STA in mid-February as part of the application process.
The Online Admissions Process:
With our online application, parents will create student and family profiles, upload required documents and make the application payment conveniently. Applicant families will also have the ability to monitor the status of their child's application, as received and outstanding components will be indicated.

STEP 2:    Upload the following required support dcouments:

* Birth Certificate

* Baptismal Certificate, if Catholic

* Most Recent Report Card

* Most Recent Standardized Testing Results

* Immunization Records

   This document will provide you with a list of important dates and instructions for the 2018-19 admissions
    cycle, as well as a list of required documents to be uploaded with the online application. The online application
    portal is available through the link above.
STEP 3:    Complete and submit the Online Application by February 2, 2018. Confirm that all required application components are received by the Admissions team by viewing progress on the Applicant Checklist in your online profile.
STEP 4:    For K-7th grade applicants: Make an appointment for student assessment via the PTC Wizard link included in the application receipt email. Assessments for K-7th applicants will take place on Saturday, February 10th, 2018. For 4th-7th grade applicants, also make an appointment for a student shadowing day at STA.
STEP 5:     Notifications of admissions outcomes will be mailed on Friday, March 9th, 2018.
Current Year (2017-18) Transfer Applications:
Inquiries regarding transfers to St. Thomas Aquinas for the current school year (2017-2018) should be made to the Admissions Office, (214) 826-0566, or via email, to or, prior to submitting a current year application. Please include student name, date of birth, current grade level, and current school information. Also indicate whether the family is registered with St. Thomas Aquinas Parish and if the student is baptized Catholic. Many of our grade levels are at capacity; therefore, some applications may not be accepted.
All applicants transferring from another Catholic parish should include a parish standing verification letter and contribution history from the current pastor/parish office with the application support documents.
