Margaret Stubbs
My name is Margaret Stubbs and this is my fifteenth year to teach PK4 at St. Thomas Aquinas School. I have also been the Early Childhood Director for the last fifteen years.
I graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1977. My husband and I are diehard Razorback fans Woo, Pig! Sooie. I completed Masters classes while teaching Special Education in the public school system in Arkansas. When my daughter, Erin, was 18 months old my husband and I moved to Dallas. My Architect husband, Chip, and I have been married for thirty-seven years. I was a PK Teacher and Early Childhood Director at a Lutheran Child Development Program in Dallas for ten years before finding my dream job here at St. Thomas Aquinas School.
I always had a desire to work with young children. I want to help them develop a love of learning that will hopefully last a lifetime. After all, everything that you ever wanted to know you learned in Preschool, right? I believe that my teaching abilities are a gift from God that must be used to nurture the understanding of Gods love for each student.
I am a "foodie" and my husband and I like to cook together. I enjoy watching cooking shows on TV and going to the movies in my spare time.
