Katie Wendorf
Hi, my name is Katie Wendorf and this is my second year teaching first grade at STA. I love first grade and I am going into my 11th year teaching it. First grade is such a fundamental year and I have very high expectations for my students. I hope to instill Catholic values and academic habits that they will use throughout their career as students.
I am not a Texas native but have lived here for twelve years. I grew up in Oklahoma City attended Parochial School my entire life and graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1997. I moved to Dallas where I met my husband, Lane. We have a four year old daughter, Delaney and an 8 month old son, Dalton. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and two dogs. My hobbies include traveling, shopping, scuba diving and working out.
