This is the beginning of my thirty-second year as a teacher and my third year at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School as the 7th grade Language Arts teacher. Prior to my time here at STA, I taught high school and middle school English, language arts, and reading for twenty-eight years in the Dallas Independent School District, and one year at All Saints Catholic School. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Arts degree from the University of North Texas. My belief regarding my role as a teacher is that �school isn�t about me.� In other words, I am here to serve the students, parents, and community by furthering the education of my students�academically, spiritually, and socially�and doing what I am able to prepare each child for a successful, well-rounded future.
