Andie Sowder
My name is Andie Sowder. This is my sixth year teaching 7th and 8th grade Science at STA. Prior to coming to St. Thomas Aquinas, I taught middle school science for fifteen years in Plano I.S.D.
I have a B.S. in Education from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters in Biology from TWU. My husband Jim is an attorney in Dallas. We have two daughters, Madison - a freshman at Bishop Lynch and Abby - a 6th grader here at STA.
When not teaching or attending multitudes of daughters' sporting events, I love to watch movies, as well as run or bike at White Rock Lake.
