Accreditation
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School is accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops Education Department and AdvancED (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools). St. Thomas Aquinas was named a 2012 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education, one of only 50 private/parochial schools selected in the nation for 2012. St. Thomas Aquinas was also recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 1997.

Campus & Facilities
St. Thomas Aquinas has two campuses located .25 mile apart.
The Upper School sits adjacent to the Church and houses grades 3rd - 8th. It includes a gymnasium, three science labs, an art room, drama room, and a 3-acre athletic facility for football, baseball, softball, and soccer. The St. Dominic Building at the Upper School houses the performing arts classrooms, tutoring labs, and enrichment programs such as the robotics lab, and the new video production studio. The Church also serves as an integral part of our campus as the students and faculty attend Mass weekly and participate with the community-at-large on Holy days and Feast days.
The Lower School, seven blocks to the north of the main campus, houses grades PK-2nd. The Lower School includes a chapel for weekly Mass and prayer services, gymnasium, library, drama and art rooms, outdoor science areas, and playground.
Student Life
Both campuses are used by clubs, auxiliary organizations, STA athletics, Church programs, and is home to one of the largest Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs in Dallas.
STA provides academic enrichment opportunities such as Chess Club, PSIA, Broadcast, Yearbook, and the spring Musical.
Students in 5th-8th grade participate in more than 13 competitive sports at the 5th grade, junior varsity, and varsity levels.
