Sixth - Eighth Grades

During the 6th to 8th grade years, the focus is on fostering readiness for high school. As our students progress academically, they refine their abilities in critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration.

Middle school teachers focus on student differentiation, emphasizing individual learning styles and learning strengths, and tailor teaching methods to address each student's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Teachers encourage project-based and inquiry-based learning that integrates multiple disciplines.

A growth mindset is cultivated based on a student-centered approach to teaching and learning. Students are empowered to take ownership of their learning through goal-setting and self-assessment. Teachers offer choices and autonomy to promote a sense of responsibility.

Educating the whole child academically, spiritually and socially requires a collaborative effort among teachers, parents and students as a school-church community. This partnership is a necessary component for student success.
