Boy Scouts

Pack 43 at St. Thomas Aquinas invites you to join STA scouting!

Troop 43 of the Boy Scouts of America was established by the St. Thomas Aquinas Dad's Club in 1947, and has continually served the young men of our parish since then. Presently, the Troop is sponsored by the St. Thomas Aquinas Holy Name Society.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young men to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Scouting offers opportunities for boys to:

  • Develop positive attitudes
  • Learn new skills
  • Become resourceful
  • Experience the outdoors
  • Grow in their faith
  • Have tons of FUN!
Cub Scouts

Boys in 1st through 5th grades and their parents are invited to come and learn more about our program. We have a very active Pack at St. Thomas Aquinas. Cub Scouting offers wonderful opportunities for your sons to experience success through achievements, learn leadership and service to others, growth in their faith, make new friends and have lots of fun. Come meet our Leaders and our Scouts and see for yourself what Scouting has to offer.

For more information regarding Cub Scouts, contact Pack 43 Cubmaster Chuck Kobdish.

Boy Scouts

The Boy Scouts is open to young men in 6th through 12th grade. The program provides opportunities for individual and group achievement through merit badge programs, rank advancement and community service projects. In addition, camping and outdoor activities are part of the Scout life. Dedicated to promoting self-discipline, goal-setting and achievement, personal growth, civic awareness and community volunteerism, the Boy Scouts program provides an environment in which a young man can challenge himself physically, mentally and spiritually. The Troop meets on the second floor of the St. Dominic building on Sundays. All interested persons are welcome to attend Troop meetings and activities.

For more information, contact Troop 43 Scoutmaster, Louis Freitas.
