We love our STA grandparents!
Grandparents hold a special place in the STA community, sharing in the faith, traditions, and values that help shape our students. Their love, guidance, and presence enrich not only the lives of their grandchildren but also the entire school family. See all the 2026 details below.

2026 Grandparents Day Details
Upper School
The Upper School will celebrate Grandparents Day on Thursday, January 29th. The Upper School is located at 3741 Abrams Road, Dallas, TX 75214. Families are invited to welcome grandparents on campus at their designated time slot to enjoy lunch with their grandchild at STA.
Please plan to arrive during your assigned time slot and enter through Door #6 - BLUE DRAMA ROOM DOOR off Kenwood Avenue (see map below). Parking is available in the north lot by the church, overflow parking is in the south lot by the playground. We recommend dropping off and picking up any grandparents who need assistance before parking.
ARRIVAL TIMES:
- 3rd grade (plus siblings): 10:45 AM
- 4th grade (plus siblings): 11:30 AM
- 5th and 6th grade (plus siblings): 12:15 PM

7th and 8th grade: 1:00 PM
Grandparents will be greeted by faculty and members of the STA choir, then escorted through the halls of STA to the cafeteria.
LUNCH
There, grandparents may purchase lunch through their grandchild’s student account from Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner Caterer (menu below), or they are welcome to bring their own lunch for themselves and/or their grandchild.
Following lunch, guests will be guided through another hallway for photos and a send-off. If you would like your child to be released following the event, please be sure to complete the release form HERE. Please click on the MAP below for directions and to see where guests will exit after Grandparents Day.

Lower School
The Lower School will celebrate Grandparents Day on Friday, January 30th. The Lower School is located at 6255 E. Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, TX 75214. Grandparents Day* at the Lower School will look the same as last year. Students in PK4 - 2nd grade are invited to arrive and leave with their guests. Students only attend IF they are bringing a grandparent or special friend.
Lower School students are asked to wear their uniforms, but they do not need to bring their backpacks.
Please plan to arrive during your assigned time slot below and enter through the Lower School main entrance. Parking is available in the main Lower School lot. Overflow parking is also available in the Birdies East Side lot parallel to the Lower School.
There will be four sessions. Students and their guests will attend only during their assigned session. Sessions are organized alphabetically by child's last name so that all (PK-2nd) children in one family can visit during the same window. *If a grandparent is not able to attend, students may invite a special friend in their place.

Donate to STA
Donate to STA. When we ask grandparents to consider making a donation to STA in honor of their grandchild, we are inviting them to contribute financially as a way of showing support and appreciation for their grandchild's educational experience. This donation could go towards various initiatives such as funding educational programs, improving facilities, providing scholarships, or supporting extracurricular activities. It allows grandparents to make a meaningful impact on their grandchild's school environment while contributing to its ongoing success and growth.
